Why medical coding?
Medical Coding is a process of transferring medical data into alphanumeric codes. The medical data comes from various sources like transcriptions, medical notes, electronic records, lab results including blood work, urinalysis, and pathology and radiologic assessments.
The program is designed in such a manner that it is easy for a person with no medical background to understand the medical terminology and anatomy. The program offers hands-on training using codebooks and various encoders. The students are encouraged to learn the medical language and anatomy through various fun exercises and assignments.
